FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First is an evaluation of the dog, then a discussion with the owner to see what they want out of training. I explain the training process, show how to do it, then let the owner do it for them self.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in the animal industry since 2013. I did a mentorship with a dog trainer then an online course. I received my Career Diploma in Dog Obedience Trainer/Instructor. I then started a dog training business.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I found my passion for working with dogs in 2013 when I adopted a Australian Cattle Dog named Bingle. He was a great dog at first but then started showing signs of aggression towards other dogs and anxiety. After several failed attempts of training with local trainers I took it into my own hands to help him. I went to google, youtube, and talked to trainers online that were outside of my area. After 2 years of hard work with Bingle I got him over his aggression and anxiety. That journey showed me that my true passion was working with dogs and other animals. I then started on my next journey to become a dog trainer.
