Introduction: I received my B.S. Degree in Restaurant Hotel and Institutional Management. I worked in restaurants for 18 years and management for 14 years. During that time I learned a great deal not only about customer service but fixing and building things as well. We were always tight on budgets and I would take it upon myself to learn, fix and build things ranging from woodwork to plumbing and all sorts of odds and ends. I ended up leaving the industry and starting my own woodworking business, in part to skills that I learned while in the industry. I enjoy the creative process, the appreciation that comes with knowing I built/fixed something myself and how great the end piece comes out.
