- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically, pricing is calculated based on the total amount of time that is expected to be required to complete a project. Any additional equipment or assets (music, graphics, etc) that need to be purchased for the purposes of the project are factored in as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I like to begin with a brief phone interview to allow the new customer to get to know more about myself and the work that I do. I also like to get a good understanding of the scope of the project so that I can better provide an accurate quote and make sure I am getting everything the customer wants.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from Madison Media Institute with a degree in Video and Motion Graphics. Since then I have worked full time in the industry both as a self-employed business owner as well as a full time videographer with other companies.
