- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a lifelong horsewoman with a degree in Equine Science and the Volunteer Training Director at Safe Harbor Equine and Livestock Sanctuary.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have given lessons to children as young as 5 and adults as young as 95. Some of my students want to ride competitively and some of my students are getting comfortable on the trail. The horses who come through my program range in age from foal to 38. I can start colts, work to finish show horses and rehab our rescue horses before helping to adopt them out...some of which have found their loving trail buddies, others have graduated to lesson horses and even others to show horses. I have started horses ranging from Percherons to Arabians, my personal horses are an Arabian Pony and a retrained Off the Track Thoroughbred. Safe Harbor gives me access to our sanctuary horses to teach along side of as well.
