- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Coaching is a very powerful process that lends itself to personal growth. With new clients, I begin with a discovery session designed to see if coaching is right for the client. Thereafter, I conduct an in-depth intake conversation to ascertain, among other things, a client's goals and what they wish to achieve from the coaching process.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Certified Professional Coach, having received my certification from Fowler International Academy of Professional Coaching, founded by Berry Fowler who is also the founder of Sylvan Learning Centers. I am routinely updating and enhancing my skills by acquiring Continuing Coach Education Units (CCEUs).
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Before hiring a coach, potential clients should ask themselves what they expect to gain from the coaching experience. They should also gain a clear understanding of the coaching process (how the sessions are conducted, the frequency and duration, etc.) Also, ask their prospectcive coach about their success stories and what they consider their greatest strength as a coach. Finally, ask the prospective coach if they offer a complimentary initial consultation. This 'getting to know you' stage is vital in determing if you and the coach are compatible
