My experience with Gaku Murata wasn't with his music. Unfortunately, two days before our event, a small networking/cocktail party at a conference, Gaku had a family emergency. He called me asking if it would be okay if he found another musician for me. He also offered a refund on the down payment we had made if the substitutes weren't acceptable. Gaku found two good options for me, gave me a brief background on them with his recommendation of which would be best for my event, and sent examples of the other musicians' work for me to view. The substitute showed up on time, entertained the party, and was very professional. Even though Gaku was unavoidably kept from performing, he came through with his professionalism and courtesy. Just as a note, I finished payment with Gaku so there were no changes in contracts or payment terms. He took care of the other performer. I would certainly work with Gaku again if my company were to be back in the area for another meeting. Highly recommend.

I hired Gaku and Dwayne to perform at my wedding ceremony. They were AMAZING!!!! It was a Catholic ceremony, so they had to learn a few new songs. It was as if they had performed those songs a million times- you would've never known that they had just learned them. They sounded so beautiful together and really added something extra special to my BIG day. The highlight was definitely "Ave Maria." I cried because it was the most beautiful version I had ever heard. Do yourself a favor and hire them for an event!
