Introduction: I have earned my Master's degree in music and also have 10+ years of experience performing and teaching music. I know each student has a different learning style and I do my best to cater to their individual needs in order for them reach their full potential. I strive to create an environment where music is exciting and students love coming to their lesson each week. I absolutely love guiding my students to create a lasting relationship with music and learning. It brings me great joy when a student starts to see progress and what they are capable of. Our family has known Lyndsay for over 2 overs. Both of our children (ages 9 and 6) took piano lessons with Lyndsay beginning almost 3 years ago. The progress our children made FAR exceeded our expectations! They always seemed to be the best taught children in recitals as well. Lyndsay made learning piano fun and allowed our children to choose what music they wanted to learn. Lyndsay is friendly, kind, gentle, positive, encouraging, patient, and so, so sweet. She is able to connect with her students and customize their piano lessons according to their strengths. She turned our children into confident, self-motivated piano players. I highly recommend Lyndsay as a piano teacher and if she didn't move, we would have used her forever! We are envious of future families who can experience just how great she is!!! Carrie Gallacher

Lyndsay is an excellent performer! She is so engaging and delightful not only on the stage but in person as wel! As a fellow music teacher, I appreciate her dedication to her students and her ability to tailor her lesson plans for each individual student! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to learn about the student prior to our first lesson in order to best meet their needs for the lesson. I find out what kind of music they are interested in, as well as what they may be preparing for, whether it be an audition or performance or just learning some new skills. I have found that it helps to know what the expectations are in order to best provide those services.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Master of Music degree in Music
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up singing in choirs and performing in concerts and plays. I studied music during undergraduate and graduate school and discovered a passion for teaching and helping share my passion for music. I have worked with students beginning at 5 years old up to adults and I love each and every age and life stage.
