- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Video production is like shopping for a car. Prices can vary depend on what manufacturer and model you want and need. At Lighthouse Productions we custom price every video to make sure you get a video that does its job and achieves the desired goals at a price that fits your budget.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I like to do is to meet with the client and discuss exactly what their goals for the video. Basically, I'm, looking for the anwswers to these types of questions. What kind of video do they want? What do they want the video to accomplish? Who is the target audience? What are you going to do with the video once it is finished? From there I develop a creative idea and script that will atain all the goals. Once the idea and script are approved we schedule a shoot date and time. Once shooting is complete, I move to the editing process. After the video has been edited I get a final approval and the project is complete. This process can vary widely as far as a timetable is concerned. The timetable is usually is determined by the clients needs. I have completed projects anywhere from the same day to around a year. Most jobs usually can be completed in around a week.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 35 years experience in the video production field. I have produced, directed, shot and edited over 10,000 commercials. I have also done TV shows that have aired nationally and across Texas. Plus numerous corporate videos.
