- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A majority of our exterior projects are broken down by square feet or square yard. Sometimes, it will depend on a jobs duration. We do offer a free installation warranty with select projects and scopes of work. We routinely offer new deck discounts on our Facebook page (hint, hint). We do have a 2% credit card or bank transfer fee for processing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It all starts with first contact. During the phone call/text/email/etc we will discuss the details to ensure we are the right company for you. Once we are introduced, we will schedule an on-site consultation to provide a free estimate of your project. All of our estimates will include labor and materials, unless requested differently. Once you’ve reviewed the estimate, it will be your decision to move forward with our company. If we have earned your trust, we will provide a contract, scope of work, and other documents to get the project going in the right direction. Depending on the project, multiple meets may occur between the customer and I before a worker even touches the project. The ensures the details and ideas have been finalized and the customer will receive exactly what is expected.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 8 years of experience in law enforcement which has taught me integrity, safety, and management. I am able to ensure the safety of the job site, ensure the work is being done correctly, and manage the project throughout its duration. I have been in the industry for 6 years which has taught me the tricks of the trade, proper building and installation methods, and a dense foundation of knowledge in general remodeling. I have also taken several continuing education courses with Penn Foster.
