- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Due to projects being so different, we base pricing on the scope of the project. We have done flat fee, hourly, percentage of the construction cost (new constriction), price per square foot, lump sum or any combination of these, having a conversions regarding all the work, is how determine fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I typically like to do a phone interview to gain a complete understanding of the project, it makes establishing a fee easier, this is also the time to discuss timelines. Then we can set up a time to meet, I will have contract or letter of agreement to sign and we can get started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have an advance technical degree in interior design (equivalent to a bachelors degree) which allows me to be a registered interior designer in the state of Texas, with being registered also comes with the requirement to meet continuing education in order to keep that registration. Codes, trends, it all changes, Its my way of keeping up with all the ever changing rule and regulations. I also have the ability to sign and seal drawings needed to submit to a city for a building permit if your project requires.
