Mark and his uncle installed an outlet in my garage. Prior to installing this outlet in the garage, the lights on the two garage door openers worked. After the outlet was installed and the two left, I closed the garage door and discovered the lights were not on. I looked to see if a circuit in the panel had tripped but that was not the case. I called Mark and he stated that they didn't do anything as it relates to the garage door openers. This statement is true but the source (electricity) was manipulated in the garage and now something that worked prior to any manipulation, now doesn't work. He stated that he would come back and take a look to see what the problem was, unfortunately, he never returned nor responded to any of my messages that I have left on Thumbtack. I would not recommend or utilize him again because of this. The follow through is the most important aspect of customer service and he failed miserably in this area. During our initial conversation, he let me know that he was learning the electrical craft, this is not how you start. A phone call and then a re-visit to be sure that you have covered your bases is the right way of handling these types of situations. Poor start out of the gates and I hope you learn from this and get it right.
