Introduction: My name is Dimitri, and I have been a professional DJ in the greater Boston area for the past 10 years. I have been a resident DJ in many of the clubs and bars in the city which has enabled me to really understand how to keep a dance floor going. By offering a unique style of seamless mixing of new and old music, I cater to almost any crowd. I strive to make the event about the music and dancing and not about the DJ being "in your face." I really like to chat with my customers before every event to make sure that they feel comfortable with me and to ensure that I am the fit for them. Dimitri did an amazing job DJing for my sons baptism. He arrived exactly on time and stayed until the final guests left. Dimitri carefully listened to our ideas and created a great set of songs. He was very professional and executed our vision perfectly. Overall, I would highly recommend Dimitri to DJ any event.

I have used DJ Dimitri for several events!!!! He is excellent at getting the crowd going, everyone is always on the dance floor- I have even asked him to stay late a few times so he could keep playing. We didn't want the party to end. He does a great combo of both Greek and American music. He plays both up to date music along with not forgetting your traditional songs at the same time! He is very professional to work, which is a plus!

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
If a customer is interested in booking me for an event I will typically have a call with them or meet them if they prefer. We will then chat about the event talk about the guests and how they would like to see it flow. I am very easy to talk to and this part is essential for making the customer comfortable allowing them to leave the music to me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors/Masters in Mechanical Engineering that has helped me understand the audio equipment design. I have worked with many of the original Djs in Boston who were the first in the business.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My love of music really brought me into this.
