FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have learned over the years that working at a time plus materials basis usually works out best for my clients. Although a bid ( flat rate price ) is usually more comfortable for new clients. At least until we have a good working relationship.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
One absolute for me when considering a project with a new client, is to meet and discuss the job. Prior to committing to do the work. This gives me, as well as the perspective client, an opportunity to decide if we feel we can have a good working relationship.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Other than two years of tech school, all my training has been hands on experience. About 30 years in most all areas of residential construction. I have also built cabinets and furniture.
