FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Generally a website less than 10 pages without much functionality i.e. ecommerce or something similar costs about $2000. Extra pages and extra functionality costs, but doesn't necessarily significantly increase the price. If a customer has a higher budget I will not charge more simply because of that. What I will do is work with them in possibly adding some SEO work which can vary in price increases. It's easiest to create a plan when a customer has a known budget - things are more cut and dry.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I start by learning more about a customer's business and their goals. Each project is it's own seed and must be viewed as such in order to grow. By knowing the brand, what websites they like, and what they want to accomplish with their website I can move forward with a quote.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
