- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer several packages to meet the different needs of my clients. Most clients prefer to meet weekly for 45 min. sessions (12 weeks) or monthly (1 hour sessions for 3 months) Some only want a quick one hour phone consultation to get them going in the right direction. Once you set up a phone consultation with me (free 30 minutes), then I will have an idea of what you are looking for and can direct you to the package that best meets your needs. I will then to send a list of fees an services describing each package for you to peruse and choose from. I also teach cooking classes, in my home or your home (depending on location), that demonstrate 3 dishes that are easy to prepare, healthy, and delicious. My cooking classes are very popular and sell out quickly. I do offer packages for those who want individualized instruction with cooking classes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We meet either once a week or once a month (depending upon which package your choose) by phone/zoom/face time, or at my home for 45 minute sessions. Clients are sent an intake form to complete which helps me know how to pin point health issues. Clients are given action steps each week to work on, and are given recipes, menu planning, food guide, and other resources as needed to help support client's goals. Sometimes I even take the client into my kitchen to demonstrate food preparation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BS, MS in Home Economics and Community Services with a focus in Nutrition, Certification as a Nutrition Educator and Health Coach through Holistic MBA, Training through INL (Institute of Nutritional Leadership), currently studying through Carmen Hunter Health Coaching for Business. I have researched, trained and studied the many aspects of nutrition, and pride myself in keeping up with the latest information, fads and truth. I have spent the past 20 years learning and sharing what I know to others, by teaching nutrition classes, speaking to groups and organizations and by doing consulting work. I have taught many cooking classes and still teach in the community and in my home.
