- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Although consistency is key, especially with issues like pricing systems, I've found that there a few different ways to price jobs. I use three. depending on the job at hand and the lowest cost to the customer. One way i refuse to bid jobs is by just winging it and throwing random numbers and hoping for a bigger payday.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First phase would be communication, whether it's over the phone, text, email, or in person. Next would be to meet with you to inspect the job at hand and come up with a plan that works best for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of construction experience and counting. Trades include carpentry,drywall, deck design and build or resurface/repair/replace, custom bathroom design and remodel, Door install/repair/replace, interior trim including crown, chair rail, shadowboxes and wainscotting, exterior trim, gutter cleaning/repair, hot water heater replacement, hvac service, painting, plumbing, roofing repair and install, hardwood flooring, tile, window install/repair/replace, mold remediation, lead paint abatement, and much more
