Introduction: I have been in the wedding business for three and a half years; I have been taking classes to better myself as a coordinator! I am an assistant coordinator at Houmas House Plantation and I also work at Oak Lodge Conference and Reception Center during the week. I also am planning several events on my own on the side! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I haven't really started working on packages, ! But i do base it on what the client needs me to do.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with a new bride/client face-to-face so I can get their vision. I also like when they have pictures of what they want or something similar. We talk about budget first. I have a sheet that breaks everything down, it's really helpful!! We will also go over colors and or themes! I make the appointments where you want to go. All you have to worry about is being at the location
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the wedding industry for almost 4 years! I finished a class this past fall dealing with wedding planning and also a business course. I am very knowledgeable. I know the ins and outs of weddings and events.
