Introduction: I am a painter and have done a number of murals and commission works. As a painter, my specialties are portraits and landscapes and use both acrylics and oil paints.
I have taught arts for 6 years in a public schools. In addition, I own a local paint and sip studio. I enjoy teaching painting to all ages.
Painting and art is my life. I'm so happy to be able to do what I love. I enjoy helping others find their own voice as artists as well.

I have taken group and individual classes from Stephanie, as well as observe her teaching, and she is an amazing teacher, for both adults and children. She explains the process throughly and makes it easy to follow each step. She is just so good at what she does and it has been such a joy knowing her and learning from her. She is an amazing artist!

This Paint and Sip experience was wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed the space to create the class work using my own imagination while being gently guided in an open ended and fun way by Stephanie McCandless. Great way to enjoy the art of personal expression in a relaxed and fun atmosohere.
