Cora Crisman

Introduction: As a classically trained professional flute player, I have over a decade of performing and teaching experience. I hold a Bachelor's in music from Ithaca College and a Master's from the Royal Academy of Music, and currently freelance with the Colorado Springs Philharmonic and Colorado Ballet orchestras, as well as play chamber music in Denver. A long time student turned professional, I have the ability to work with beginners as well as advanced students, and am passionate about providing you with the experience you want: whether you are looking to get into a music college, pass your chair test, pick up an old skill from elementary school, or just play for personal enjoyment, I am happy to help you achieve your goals! The best part of making music is expressing yourself, and learning from that. No matter what your level or goals, I am committed to helping you feel like you are learning the technique of an instrument as well as the ability to communicate through music something about who you are and what you love. I believe we learn incredible amounts about ourselves through playing music alone and together, and it is a gift to work with students in finding that out!
