FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An in home estimate is a big part to a good start of a project. I get to hear what my clients want and I get to suggest ideas that my clients may have missed. After I've sent my estimate, the showroom would be the next step. Narrowing down material selection! Once all materials are ordered and onsite it's time to begin the process. All my projects are given a schedule, key part in what makes this work is having materials ready before starting. This allows for any shipping delays to not catch us halfway through the project which can cause dissonance in a well planned and scheduled project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2006-2008 tile/stone only 2008-2013 tile/granite 2013-present tile/granite/cabinetry
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in this line of work as a tile setter in 2006 while tile was something new and a challenge I liked, I started seeing granite being installed in some projects and the detailed work in granite caught my attention. From 2008-2011 I worked as a granite fabricator/installer and tile installer for a local company. After 5 years of training I decided to venture off on my own and start my own projects. I offered granite and tile services but I started noticed my clients often enough would ask about cabinetry, in 2013 I brought cabinetry into my business. A little over a decade, later here I am, offering the experiences that I've learned and extremely content that each step I've taken forward has been not only fun but most importantly relative to the one before!
