- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My lessons are $30 per half hour, $45 for 45 minutes, $60 per hour. Some students do group lessons. An example, for 2 students to share a half hour, each pay $20.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I customize my lessons to the students interest, ability and goals. Every student has a unique lesson plan to ensure they get the most out of there lessons. Whether preparing students for music as a career or just to enjoy the guitar for themselves, I make sure the progress towards their goal is accomplished one step at a time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a masters degree in classical guitar performance from the University of Denver and Bachelor of Music from the University of Northern Colorado. I taught guitar, theory and other related music classes at the Community College of Aurora for 21 years. At the same time I was hired to teach jazz, classical, and popular guitar at the Colorado Christian University for 14 years. I also taught Music Theory 1 and 2 to all music majors as well as there Fundamentals of music class. I have toured Europe, the US and Canada in rock bands. I have performed countless classical and jazz concerts. My 12 CDs have been sold in Europe, South America, Asia and Australia. I have been featured on the radio on at 30 radio stations including local stations KVOD, KBPI, THE MOUNTAIN, The Fox (103.5) The Bear (107.5) and many more.
