FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

In 2003 I was a young man at UNC in Greeley and needed a quality summer job. I joined a local roofing company and ended up on a shingle crew. I worked my way up from helper to shingles and learned a lot. After school I began a different career that was successful for a time, but when the market died down I went back to roofing, only this time I had learned enough about business and sales to be the owner. I opened the doors to NexPlateau Enterprises.

  • Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Removed the ugly weathered wood shake roof and replace it with a beautiful estate gray architectural shingle. Got rid of the ugly ineffective turtle vents and replace them with an effective ridge vent system. Great result with architectural beauty!!!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure they are really local. Look at their car, phone number, etc... ask questions. They won’t be around for warranty work or emergencies if they are not local. I may have done work outside of Colorado, but I am a Coloradoan. The only way I go out of state is for large multi family and commercial projects for GC’s that I trust, and they trust me to get the work done without supervision.
