I was looking to hire someone to video tape my Gender Reveal and I came across Finebox Studio. He is very professional and friendly. He also had a lot of great ideas for scenes for our video that I haven't even thought of. Once completed and open for any edits my husband and I didn't have any to make. Akwasi was the best! Just completely professional and understood what I wanted to accomplish for my video. Showed up to my event early and built his rapport with the crowd. Akwasi made this event so memorable for me and my family I will forever be grateful to him. My party was very sensitive in nature because it was a celebration of life for my brother who passed away very tragically. Akwasi made a point to help build my video so my brother memory is captured and revered! I will never hesitate to recommend his services or hire him again!

We decided to get a videographer for our wedding very last minute-- only a few weeks out. It hadn't been high on our priority list, so even as an addition we didn't want to break the bank for it. Awkasi gave us a very reasonable quote and had some good portfolio pieces so we decided to go with him. He did a great job, showed up early and stayed late, and got us a short video we really liked within a month of the wedding. We like it so much that we will probably add on a longer video too. He was also very accommodating with a few edits we requested. We highly recommend him!

Akwasi was fantastic to work with! My husband and I hired him to film our wedding. We met with him a few months before the wedding where he answered all of our questions. He was very prompt in responding to emails to answer questions as well. The day of the wedding, he arrived promptly and carried himself very professionally. The short video he gave us is absolutely stunning. He did such a good job capturing our wedding day! I cannot stop watching the video and everyone that has seen it has been blown away by it as well!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer I make sure to listen to their needs as they want it. Then based off of that I will offer suggestions. I will always have the customers wants and needs as my main priority so they can be sure and feel confident that I will bring their vision into a great video
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a 4 year degree in communications with a film concentration. Within those 4 years I learned from the bottom up how to work and operate a camera, editing, lighting, audio. I've used this knowledge to create many student films independently as well as for course projects. I have also helped shoot weddings as an assistant videographer capturing the pre ceremony, the ceremony, and the reception
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started with my love of film, ever since then I have wanted to get behind the camera. That's when I went to school and learned all the technical details of working in a production.
