FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with assessing the location and wiring situation around the area of work and then we assess any environmental or structural issues/hazards when completing the project. First phase of installation almost always start with the rough in phase. Customer will see the most work AND the most mess/issues during this phase as the work area is opened up. As long as there are little to no issues during the rough in we will move immediately to placement and configuration. After which would be programming and cleanup, depending on the project of course.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked in the telecom and data fields for over 8 years and have a very diverse background concentrated in both low voltage and IT. I am an avid scholar of modern technology as it relates to our way of life and business. I've worked at and on some notable projects: Residential and Commercial technician for customer homes and business with two A+ rated service providers, commercial and low voltage experience in security access and cameras, data/telecommunications, POS systems, Network (CCNA), and Home theater and media installation both before and after construction. I've worked aloft and in crawlspaces and am effective in just about any environment you put me.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It orginially started when I was young, I would take apart electronics and computers to see how they worked and repair them. Now I can design and build computers, data networks, home media solutions, wire and terminate data connections, setup and mount hardware, install and manage software and virtual instances, and even carpentry work. I've acquired my skill set to do more of what I already love. I gravitated to running my own business to empower myself and the people I help to get more out of technology to help their everyday life. I'll be more than happy to help people create the environment that will allow them to enjoy life and work at its best.
