G.P. Home Inspections

Introduction: Inspecting a home is always a gamble. When I'm on the way to the house, I normally have no idea what I'm about to get into. The reason why I do it, however, is not for the thrill of it. Houses are being built with more complexity every day and learning those complexities is no longer a common thing. My job is to make sure people are aware of what they own, what they're about to purchase, or what they've recently built and leave them feeling educated. The combination of my construction systems degree from the Ohio State University and my experience as a residential project manager and custom home builder has given me a wide range of awareness. There is a strong difference between inspecting a home for defects and inspecting a home for quality. Rather than just going into the home with a checklist of items to look at, I am able to verify whether or not the home has been built in the best fashion that it can be.
