Introduction: I've spent a lot of my life documenting life and politics (such a dirty word, I know!). My wedding, engagement, and family photography style reflects the candid, storytelling, nature of photojournalism, where I started my career. I also tend toward creating images that have a mix of ethereal and nature. I have nearly a decade of photography work and producing/editing videos, primarily in the competitive, intense, and high profile DC political scene. Experience in DC means I produce good work on a deadline. I've recently moved to Greenville, and I am hoping to meet new people to create for and with. I worked in DC for years, but I'm from Texas, and I'm so thankful to be back in a good and friendly area that is more like my home state. I have a childlike imagination, a desire for beauty, and a serious love for helping people have something wonderful. I absolutely love that I get to make something beautiful that preserves a lasting memory for a family or couple, or best represents a business. I have years of experience in the many technical aspects involved, but I still think it's the heart of the creative that matters most in bringing to life a vision for a business, or creating and capturing a moment for a family!

Carrie was a great photographer to work with. She captured great imagery with no direction and put herself out there for great shots. After the event was finished, she was quick with sending over the images. She was absolutely great!
