- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was in middle school, I was diagnosed with cataracts and a town retina. I had to have immediate surgery to fix the torn retina and a few months later, surgeries to remove the cataracts were performed. Up until that point, I did not fully comprehend how much I was missing and just how close to blind I was. With a whole new world open fed up to me, I became obsessed with seeing everything around me. Soon a camera for Christmas followed and I have never looked back. I take pride in knowing I see the world differently and I treasure being able to share my perspective with the ones who trust me with their most important moments in life.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
The first question I ever ask a client is have you seen my work and and the second question is is that in line with the style of photos you are looking for? There are so many great photographers out there who have plenty to offer, but not everyone may be the right one for you. I have a unique style and if there is anything in particular you are hoping to get out of your photos, I want to know about them going in from the hey go so we can make sure I’m a great match for you and can deliver what you are wanting.
