I was searching endlessly for a makeup artist in the north jersey area who was willing to travel to my hotel and was within my budget. I stumbled upon Crystalynn, and knew I had to have her almost immediately. I only met her for the trial and on my wedding day, but it feels like I have been friends with her for years. She has so much talent, and she really listens to what you want. I wanted to look glamorous on my special day but also still look like myself, and she accomplished that fully. She did the same for my bridesmaids and my mom as well. They all looked absolutely stunning!! I could not stop telling them all night. Crystalynn was always very responsive whenever I had a question or needed advice. She asked for pictures of the kind of look I wanted, and she made that look work for me. I am very self conscious of my appearance, and she made me feel and look how I dreamed of for my wedding. I would recommend her to anyone looking for that special vendor who makes you feel beyond comfortable and who has a lot of talent. Thank you to crystalynn and her assistant for making my day so special for me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have graduated & received my certificate for Makeup Artistry from QC Makeup Academy which is an online beauty school, I have taken a lot of tips & tricks from school and applied it to my Makeup application on my clients.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was working as a receptionist for years & was completely unhappy. I've always been in love with the art of makeup, and over the years have developed a lot of skill doing my own makeup. I thought to myself why am I working in a field I'm not happy with, when I can be doing something I can put my all into & be able to enjoy what I do. So I looked into schooling & started online classes. I began doing close family & friends makeup to develop skills & now here I am. Doing what I love with passion.
