FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Every project is different. Some get quoted on square feet, some based by time and material, others are base on a fixed price judged by past projects.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing I like to do is learn about the project. Understand what the homeowners final plan is with the house. I like to give creative ideas about the project and suggest money saving options. We will come up with a general plan enough for me to accurately quote the job. I'll estimate the project and email it to the homeowner within 2-7 business days (depending on project). Next, I will follow up with a text, email, and or call to see if they have any questions a couple days after they receive the estimate. Once the customer has made a decision, we meet again to make a concrete plan of the project. that's when I receive the deposit and put them in the schedule. The first day on the job is the time I introduce them to my crew. I go over the plan with the crew and homeowner one last time. Then it's go time. Projects are billed by percentage of progress once a week and due upon receipt of invoice.
