My husband and I were lucky Enough to have Colin shoot our New Year’s Eve wedding this year. He was a wonderful professional to work with, the second he showed up he just meshed his personality and energy into the family and crowd - which is so important for the flow of an event. He was very respectful, fun to work with, and as soon as he showed up for the “getting ready” shots in my hotel room I knew we had made the right choice. Colin was really organized and fantastic about helping us to get all of the shot combinations of family and friends we had laid out, without it feeling stressful or like we were spending the whole night posing. He really has an eye for framing, and using the environment and background as part of the overall aesthetic. He got us to work up our courage to go outside during the reception in -7 weather because he had seen some areas to get shots. We trusted him and trooped outside for a few minutes. And the shots were worth it. Colin is newer to the wedding industry but not new to photography. His skill sets, artistic talent, and personality make him a great choice to shoot your wedding - or any other type of event. I am often willing to take a chance on a new professional to help them build their portfolio if I believe in them. And I have hundreds of gorgeous images to prove Colin was a great bet. I know he will only continue to improve - if you can solidify Colin for your wedding or event - I would go for it.
