My name is Jerry Gilstrap and I have just retired as Building Superintendent at First Baptist Church of Easley where I worked for 15-1/2 years! Whenever I have needed an electricion thru the years, my go-to has been Stokes Electric. Whether I needed repairs or new installations, Stokes was the call I made! Doug Stokes, the owner, has been a friend since High School. And Chris, his son, has become a good friend as well. To call a contractor is one thing, to know you can depend on them to be there when you need help is another thing! Always reliable, never over-price a job, just good people to deal with! Always happy to refer anyone to Stokes Electric, for I am sure they will take care of the problem! And now being retired, I will surely use Stokes for my personal needs!

My house is getting old and I needed the wiring inspected. I wanted someone to just go over it and replace what needed and change what was needed. I didnt want someone to just replace all the wiring if it didnt need to be done.
I finally found the STOKES ELECTRICAL and was very pleased with the work that Chris Stokes did on my house. Very little needed to be replaced but several things were added per my request. About four new outlets that have been very helpful. He also installed smoke detectors as they were needed to comply to the city code,
There were still some fuses in the kitchen and some breakers outside for things that were added during the last years. Chris put everything on breakers and in a large box outside. Everything was labeled and that makes it really easy to find the breaker that is needed when it is needed.
Later he came back and replaced the lights in my kitchen when that needed doing and I will call on him any time I need electrical work done.

Stokes done a great job on both jobs that were done for me. Everything was handled professionally. Did not leave a mess behind and tested outlets before leaving the job. Will use them again

Replaced 5 motion flood lights around home. Job completed as scheduled and in a professional manner.
