Working with Samantha was absolutely amazing! She is easy to talk with and shares valuable ideas to help you plan your event. We would never have thought of some of the things that we loved the most about our event without her!!! She is thoughtful, thorough and hard working. As the mother of the bride, I viewed retaining Samantha as a form of insurance - someone to ensure that we had not overlooked anything and to keep us on track. She was so much more - and I cannot imagine how we would have made it through the day without her! Her suggestions during the planning phase were timely, thoughtful and valuable. But her management of the wedding day, with all its details, chaos, surprises and time constraints, was extraordinary. She anticipated and resolved issues we could not have imagined while keeping watch over the plans and timeline we established, but which receded in a celebratory haze after the "I do's" had been said! Nothing escaped her notice, including seeing that the bride had an opportunity to eat and that everything (table decor, linens, excess alcohol, etc.) went to its designated destination at the end of the evening. Samantha's keen eye, attention to detail, professionalism and skill added immeasurably to our ability to enjoy this special day and spend it with the family and friends who'd came from near and far to share it with us.

Samantha was such a pleasure to work with! She is detail oriented, has great vision, and stays calm under pressure. The fundraising event she coordinated was a huge hit all around and with Samantha leading the way there was no doubt it would bring lots of people in to support the cause. She pulled together a great venue, delicious food and drinks, a wonderful silent auction, and overall a really successful night! I look forward to working with her again in the future, she is a gem!

I spoke with Samantha several times before my wedding date, and we met once before. She completely understood my vision and I was able to go into my wedding day with complete confidence she would be able to handle anything. Everything went perfectly (at least she made it seem that way) and she executed everything how I dreamed. She was professional yet extremely friendly the entire experience, she was a saving grace for my wedding!

My pricing is just like your event - unique! Once we connect and determine what you're looking for and how I can help, I can provide a quote for you! Returning customer? I'd love to offer returning customers or customers who book multiple events at a time (engagement party, bridal shower & wedding) a discount! Referral? Did you love your experience with Ocean State Events? Tell a friend and receive an awesome Thank You gift card to either Starbucks, Etsy, or Amazon once they book their event!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd love to grab a coffee (or 2!) or FaceTime if you're not local to get to know you and what you're looking for! I'll take lots of notes, ask lots of questions, and make sure that I'm able to make your vision come to life!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I majored in Communications at University of Rhode Island and interned at Sullivan Custom Planning.
