Introduction: I have been playing for 35 years now and many years of study with Jazz greats like Sal Salvador at the University of Bridgeport and played in many types of bands from Big Bands to Rock/Metal bands. Like many players I struggled for a long time before I figured out with the help of some great teachers there are better ways to learn and progress on the guitar.
