Introduction: The Intelligent Machine is a visual effects, animation and concept design boutique located in Austin, Texas. The Intelligent Machine is a rebrand of the company, Digital Milieux which was founded in early 2010 by Sam Treadway, a VFX supervisor and artist with a mission to provide affordable, top quality visual effects, animation, and concept design services for film, broadcast media, corporate material, video games and beyond. We are dedicated and extremely passionate about our work. We have a great group of resourceful, energetic, & highly skilled artists available to contribute to providing the best work possible on every project. What started as a visual effects and animation boutique is now a production and post-production company. Sam is a visionary whose passion lies in telling meaningful, engaging and unforgettable stories in a variety of media while using all the tools and resources at his disposal to create the best picture imaginable. The Intelligent Machine also serves as a development and VFX department in support of Sam's own stories currently in development.
