My son joined Priscilla after his junior year in high school. He had a rough year and wasn't sure if he wanted to continue with the sport. The team ended that year as one of the top 5 in the state. It was going to be a very competitive team the following year. We found Priscilla with the hope of regaining his confidence and improving his strokes and turns. She did way more than that for him. In a very short period of time, she identified the changes he needed to make to improve his swimming. He not only was able to improve his swimming in the stroke he initially wanted to work on but improved in other strokes as well. He made regional times in the 50, 100, 200 and 500 free, 200 back, 100 butterfly and 200 medley. Additionally, he had a state time for the mile. He had only worked with Priscilla about once a week for a few months. His most proud accomplishment was swimming under 1:50 in the 200 free at sectionals during his senior year. His confidence increased as he learned what he needed to do to "fine tune" his strokes. Priscilla provides a positive atmosphere and flexible scheduling. She demands a lot from her swimmers but coaches in a non-threatening manner. My son found her very easy to talk with, looked forward to working with her but knew he would have to work very hard every time he was with her. She provided a very positive experience and my son will be going back to her during college breaks. He ended up swimming in college which I don't think he would have thought was possible until he worked with Priscilla.
