FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am priced competitively, in many ways below market value because I am able to keep costs down through my home studio. I am a referral only business, so if you refer me to someone who signs a floral contract I often give free delivery or 10% off your job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have a quick "meet and greet" phone call before setting up our first in person consultation. I use this time to understand your unique project needs before drafting an initial bid. Then we meet in person, sign a contract, and begin dreaming and scheming together.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a second generation florist. I learned the trade from my mother who has had a custom floral business in Chicago for over 25 years. My mom was diagnosed with Lupus, an autoimmune disorder, 10 years ago, which has greatly inhibited her fine motor dexterity. Because of this six years ago I began apprenticing with her, then finally executing and lead designing for her business. Since moving back to the States and finally settling in Milwaukee I have decided to move the family business north and establish local clients. My formal degree is a BS in Fine and Visual Arts Education, K-12.
