- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price for your flowers is determined by the type of flowers used as well as the size and style of the bouquet. We have a pricing guide posted on our website that will give you a good idea of what the flowers will cost and can be viewed on our website. Choose "pricing" from the menu tab at the top of our home page.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free consultation to gather information to determine client's vision and style. We prepare a price proposal after the consultation and email it them. When the proposal is accepted the client signs a contract and makes a deposit to hold the date. Changes can be made up to 4 weeks before the wedding date, and at that time the balance is due and to be paid in full. If it is more convenient for a client, we also work with many brides through phone chats and emails.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nancy Zimmerman, the owner, completed Floral Design I and II with Parkland Community College in Champaign, IL in 2011 and 2012. We are a member of the Illinois State Floral Society (ILSFA) and make it a priority to attend workshops and design shows to bring you the latest products, design techniques and inspiration.
