Wow! Nancy did an absolute fantastic job with all of the florals for our wedding! We met a couple of times to discuss every detail and she kept in contact with me frequently over the months of planning to insure everything was perfect for our special day. I was even working with a rental company for sheperd hooks, but she was given some a couple weeks before our wedding and let me know this so we could use these at no additional cost. She even brought along left over flowers from an event she worked to supplement our florals free of charge! Nancy truly goes above and beyond on her floral work and you can put all of your trust in her to design the floral pieces of your dreams for your special day. If you're looking for a superb florist that won't break your, budget Nancy is your person to talk with!

Nancy did our wedding flowers - they were perfect! The amount of time and attention she spent on them is incredible, but most importantly, the amount of time and attention she paid to me was incredible. She offered suggestions, but was completely open to what I wanted. One of the big things: I had a concept in my head to have flowers cascading down our cupcake stand. She eagerly took on the challenge and did not disappoint. I would recommend Nancy to anyone for any event. Our flowers were easily one of my favorite elements of our wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price for your flowers is determined by the type of flowers used as well as the size and style of the bouquet. We have a pricing guide posted on our website that will give you a good idea of what the flowers will cost and can be viewed on our website. Choose "pricing" from the menu tab at the top of our home page.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free consultation to gather information to determine client's vision and style. We prepare a price proposal after the consultation and email it them. When the proposal is accepted the client signs a contract and makes a deposit to hold the date. Changes can be made up to 4 weeks before the wedding date, and at that time the balance is due and to be paid in full. If it is more convenient for a client, we also work with many brides through phone chats and emails.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Nancy Zimmerman, the owner, completed Floral Design I and II with Parkland Community College in Champaign, IL in 2011 and 2012. We are a member of the Illinois State Floral Society (ILSFA) and make it a priority to attend workshops and design shows to bring you the latest products, design techniques and inspiration.
