Introduction: I teach both piano and/or violin/viola so I am able to incorporate both instruments in the duration of one lesson.
As a current Strings Specialist in FCPS, I have had the opportunity to observe a variety of teaching styles as well as teaching in schools with widely varying curriculum and philosophies. I have not only benefited from the advice of my colleagues, and learning specialists, but I have also gained insightful information on different teaching methodologies. I also focus on empowering my students to succeed by encouraging them to develop their strengths and grow both personally and musically.
