Introduction: People ask me what my style is. Well, you hire me because you like the way I see the world. My whole life, my whole heart, all my energy and all the knowledge I have acquired up to the moment I press that shutter button. I have a strong creative background in fine art. My eye sees composition and color artistically, and I have a strong heart so my eye gravitates to emotion. I also have a nice balance of posed and candid or documentary style photography. I realize you need to have those formal/posed images, but I also love capturing all the energy and fleeting moments that make up the special day. A customer once said to me, " It's easy to smile for you. It feels so natural." That was the most profound compliment I have ever received and what I believe, as a photographer, distinguishes me from all the others. Naturally, warm and sensitive, I radiate those qualities as I'm shooting. My clients feel that closeness and as a result, their smiles are real and effortless, not strained. They sense my sincere happiness at being part of their event and in exchange, I get their joy back. I know when to observe and when to act. When appropriate, I blend into the event so you do not even know I'm there. My goal at every event is to be the photographer who could have been a guest at the affair.
