Introduction: As a Yoga Therapist in Northern Virginia I use movement, breathing, mindfulness, and relaxation to help my clients move towards greater wellness. Yoga therapy is effective for persistent pain, chronic conditions that affect mobility, as well as depression and anxiety. My approach is client-focused, so each session is unique and designed in response to my client's needs. I will work with you to create a practice that will best address your needs. If you wish to have a regular home practice to compliment our sessions I'll create a detailed pdf handout. If you are a beginner I will make yoga accessible to you, if you are a seasoned yoga practitioner I can help you take your practice to a deeper level. Either way, you will be able to fully experience yoga's therapeutic benefits. I provide Reiki energy healing and Tibetan Tones vibrational sound healing. These modalities are beneficial for stress reduction, anxiety relief, and pain management. By working one-on-one I team up with my clients to solve puzzles that the body presents. I love making yoga safe and accessible, so everyone can enjoy its benefits. Once yoga and meditation become part of your day you will begin to notice subtle changes in all areas of your life.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My fee is $100 for 1 hr session at my office, or $125 at your home (within 3-mile radius). $360 package of 4 sessions at my office.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At our first session we'll discuss your goals and begin to develop a program to help you achieve them. I will give you a yoga and/or meditation practice that you can do on your own, until our next meeting. You will receive your customized yoga practice with images and instructions in pdf form. This practice will be revised and updated during follow-up sessions. For Reiki and Tibetan Tones sessions, we also start with discussing your goals. Then you lie fully clothed on a massage table, and I use light touch to balance energy throughout the body, focusing on areas of pain and injury, as needed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a certified yoga therapist with International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500) with Yoga Alliance. I have 25 years of experience practicing and teaching yoga and meditation, I am a Reiki Master and Tibetan Tones certified practitioner.
