He has received numerous awards and accolades for his innovative and creative menus, always utilizing the freshest, local ingredients with a consideration for sustainability & cost. I enjoy working with different people to create menus tailored for individual events from beach cookouts and birthday parties to intimate dinners and wine tastings. Having worked as a chef for years in the hectic restaurant industry, I have learned to really enjoy a simpler lifestyle through catering and private chef-fing. The variety afforded me when cooking in different locales and homes is exciting and keeps my creativity piqued.

Creighton catered my 30 person wedding in the mountains of Colorado. Yes, he flew out west, he researched where to find top quality foods here, and then prepared a nonstop flow of gorgeous and tasty foods that were gobbled up before he could describe the dishes. We gave him some ideas of what we thought we might want, and then he just ran with it. He did all of this in a subpar equipped kitchen. The man is a magician with food. He's creative. He's talented. He's even fun to have around :)

Chef Creighton was employed to cater my daughter's wedding reception in Breckenridge, CO. His creativity and food was superb. The presentation was excellent. He was accommodating. He went out of his way to make the experience memorable. His price was exactly what we expected for the artistic food service we received. I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Chillfood was wonderful! They prepared a fabulous meal for a special birthday, and went out of their way to make each aspect of the meal look, and taste, superb. Their attention to detail really sets them apart. And, their customer service was excellent. I would highly recommend Chillfood!

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    Generally, I work with new clients via email. We correspond to develop menus and event specifics. If there is a need, I will make a site visit. Once we have a plan of action, details are worked out and we agree on the final arrangements, a deposit is collected and the time slot is reserved.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I am a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. I have been involved with many ongoing seminars and continuing education classes, as well as a voracious reader of trade magazines & cookbooks.
