Mr Van Tassell was the photographer at a wedding I attended. Admittedly, I was a bit wary since the lighting in the reception hall left much to be desired, but the photos turned out VERY well! This guy knows his stuff, and he carried himself very professionally.

David did my head shots before in 2014, and considering this was my first head shot since 12 years ago, I thought it was good. I needed new head shots and David obliged. The new head shots are stellar and they were at a affordable price!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Usual day rate will vary around $350 for a full day on location, this also includes time spent afterwards editing photos. Prices are always negotiable however, as I love to work with new people.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Find out what the client needs to accomplish. This happens by sitting down, discussing what they like, if there has been anything put out before they'd like to draw inspiration from, and how they need it to suit their needs. Laying everything out front and making sure all the details are planned are key to making sure that the end product is what the client needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
B.A. Cinema from McDaniel College, Photography training under Doug Bolst of Libertine Photography, 5 years experience in the field doing film/photo work for professional organizations, start ups, and non-profits.
