FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing depends on the project. I try to stay affordable, because I understand what it's like to want something specific...yet it's over priced. The nonsense of inflating a price due to circumstances like weddings or baby items is something I will never condone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Prior to the first meeting, I request that a fabric sample be brought to the initial meet. This allows me to view the type of fabric, (weeve, thickness, etc.) I will be working with. If no sample is on hand, we can discuss it at the meeting. The initial meet would be just getting to know what is is you are looking to have done. I bring along a stitch library for you to view. This gives you the option to see what decorative stitches or fonts best suit your needs. After that, steps can vary. Each project is different, but I find that communication is the key to quality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 5 years of sewing experience. Having started professionally sewing swimwear, I have since expanded to bedding, quilting, and other fabric related Items Most recently ebroidering has been added, (a new embroidery machine was added recently). This eliminates the outsourcing of embroidery and digitizing.
