FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I love to meet my customers for coffee or chat over the phone so they feel comfortable with me prior to their shoot or decision to hire. It really helps them to feel more comfortable in front of the camera, and to get a feel for who I am! I want my clients to know I am responsible, trustworthy, and will treat them as I would a friend.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been working in Photography for the last 4 years! I started off Assisting with a well known SF Photographer whose clients include Charlotte Russe, Jansport, and Old Navy. Through working under his wing I was able to become polished and refined in my skills in Portrait Photography and am so excited to be able to branch out on my own the last year and half!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
In college I thought I was going to be a Physical Therapist! I graduated with a degree in Kinesiology and was always the person at parties or events with a camera (started out with disposables, then to a small digital, and eventually my very own DSLR!) and loved capturing small, and grand moments! As the years flew by I dreaded science class after science class, and I knew what I had to do. I followed my heart and dove deep into the waters of Photography and have never looked back since! After 4 years of trial and error, learning, practicing, and honing in on my style and craft, I become more excited and confident every day to give my clients the images they desire and deserve.
