FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge a daily rate for basic jobs that don't involve alot of custom building or fancy finishes. Custom builds, high end finishes, jobs with possible underlying issues EXAMPLE: Replacement of window where I only plan to remove the existing and replace it with a new window, and upon removing the window find that it was never properly sealed for water tightness, and has therefore allowed the framing/sheathing to rot out) as well as any special requests are often priced by scope of work or difficulty of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'm happy to announce that after a year in business, I've found that it really pays to offer a discount for clients who are willing to write reviews, especially when dealing with clients on an internet platform like this. I'm fairly new to Thumbtack, which is why I've only got a handful of reviews, but I'm proud to say that those reviews go a long way speaking to the amount of care and effort I put into every single job I take on. I strive to be sure that when I'm finished with my job, each and every client I work for is more than happy to refer me to their closest friends and family.!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out 5 years ago; my sophomore year in high school I began taking carpentry in tech school, and have known all along that I was meant to be in business for myself. Being born and raised down south, I have a higher regard for treating people with respect, and doing good things to help another fellow working class citizen out here I'm a very laid back 22 year old whose very ambitious and dedicated to my work. I have well over 1200 pictures I've accumulated over the years, and would be happy to show more of those upon request.
