FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Plumbing Professors bills by the job, not by the hour. Our trained technician will first diagnose your plumbing or sewer problem, then he will quote you repair or replacement options. You choose and approve the option that is best for you BEFORE he does any work. That way you will know what the cost of the work will be. Please remember when it comes to plumbing, sewer and drain issues we really need to see your situation first hand to provide you with an ethical quote. It is not fair to you or us to try and provide you with a "firm" price over the phone.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A client calls us (we don't call you a customer, we want you as a lifetime client!!), our staff will outline the clients service options and schedule a service call for you then; Our tech will then arrive on site and investigate the problem; the tech will then sit down with you and offer a number of repair options that you can chose from; once you decide and sign for the repair our tech will go ahead and repair the problem. Once the problem is repaired the tech will explain what he did to you and collect payment for the previously approved work. It's that easy, remember we never do any work without your approval and we charge by the job, not by the hour.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a number of people on staff, some are Master Plumbers which is the highest plumbing "education" you can have. Other are Journeymen training to be Masters, other are apprentices. All of us are constantly training in new plumbing methodologies, new plumbing materials as well as keeping up with new plumbing and sewer codes and regulations.
