Introduction: I have taught over 500 students privately in the last 13 years at Christ For The Nations Institute. Many of my students are currently professional recording touring drummers. I have a gift of bringing out the best in my students drumming abilities. I offer lessons to kids ages 4 to adults for all levels. (no prior experience needed)
I have a passion and calling to mentor, develop, inspire, encourage, and equip drummers and percussionists through lessons and special showcases that will excel them in whatever music endeavor they desire to pursue.

My son had the honor of taking drum lessons for two semesters with Keith Banks. When my son began, he was only 6 years old but I was blown away by how much he learned in such a short time. He was able to read music and became proficient in several rhythms and fills. He was also confidrnt enough to play at two recitals, which is huge for my son! He helped him to conquer his fears and insecurities. Mr. Banks challenged him to push beyond his limit to make him better and patiently encouraged him when he felt he couldn't do it. The real-world insight he brings as a traveling musician is also invaluable. His books and dvds were very helpful as well.
Scripture says that there many teachers but not many fathers. Mr Banks lovingly guides his students and nurtures their gifts. I love the fact that he inspired my son to use his gift to honor God as a worship drummer. He imparts far more than knowledge and skills but also spiritual principles and life lessons that will outlive a performance or ministry opportunity. We always search for excellence, and we are very satisfied with his caliber of teaching. Mr Banks exceeded our expectations, so we highly recommend him for a student of any style or skill level.

Keith is a great drum instructor, and an even greater role model. Ever since I met Keith, he's always encouraged me to be a better person. He makes practicing the drums fun and exciting for me. I am blessed to have him as my teacher.

My son has been playing drums for two years since he was 7 years old and we both love it. Mr. Keith Banks is a Christian man and awesome drum instructor. My son is playing to music as well as reading music.
I recommend Mr. Banks to anyone who wants to learn how to play the drums.

Our son, Jon, has been taking lessons from Keith for three semesters. Keith's proficiency in music/drum playing is truly supernatural. However, what we love most about Keith is his love to disciple his students, giving them an ever increasing desire to use their abilities to serve the King and His Kingdom!! We highly recommend him!
