FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When the student signs up a lesson contract is sent over for them to read. We then discuss the contract and any questions relating to it.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
This depends very much on what instrument they are pursuing. BUT! I always start the lesson off asking them about past experiences in music to get an idea of where they're at musically. Then I ask them about their goals for themselves in relation to music. I like to specifically tailor my lessons to my student's wants/needs so they can get the most from their lessons!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated from the Aaron Copland School of Music with a BA in Music with a vocal concentration in singing. I studied classical singing for four years at the ACSM. I am a professional event/wedding singer. I often accompany myself and others on gigs on guitar and piano. I specialize in teaching pop/rnb vocals. I also can help you access your creative side! I write my own music and help others do the same. I have been teaching for years and have more than 40 private students per week. I can you teach you to play classical piano or even learn how to play your favorite pop songs. I make sure the lessons are tailor made for what YOU want to accomplish!
