Introduction: The fact that I am a family nurse practitioner with 30 years of experience and quite a versatile background allows me to easily interpret medical terminology and words. I am much faster now than prior to being in the health care industry. I love to do medical transcription. I began doing this 20 years ago,. I am also a Family Nurse Practitioner, semi-retired. I have plenty of time each week to transcribe and this is something I have always enjoyed doing. Since I am a medical professional I can easily decipher medical words, abbreviations, types of surgeries, procedures, etc.
