Introduction: Here's the deal, I know you have a ton of choices of photographers in this area. I like to think we stand out because we genuinely do care about making you happy with your session right from your first email contact all the way through to receiving your photos. I also love to capture moments others don't due to my candid style of shooting, but don't be fooled, I also get beautiful posed shots for those photo frames you've been waiting to fill! Photography has been a life-long passion of mine. Over time, my love of photography has grown into a love of capturing images and memories for my clients that they can frame, save as screen savers, make into gift cards for Grandma and cherish for many years to come.

When you're working with a toddler it's hard to imagine your photographer getting any pictures that aren't blurred or of the back of your toddlers head but Austin captured beautiful pictures of our daughter! He was patient, and kind, and made her laugh a lot! The pictures are beautiful and are ones that I will treasure for a long time!

Goldfinch-Photography and Austin, the professional photographer, are both outstanding. I have been taking pictures with my Canon AE-1 camera which I still have since 1977 [The original (non-program) Canon AE-1, introduced in 1976, was a groundbreaking product, being the first microprocessor-controlled camera]. Austin was patient, fun, and picked a great central location for both of us at the Slover Library in Norfolk, VA. Austin took his time and we went to several levels for different lighting and backgrounds @ the beautiful Slover Library. My pictures are fantastic. Very professionally done for my new career as a New York Life Insurance Company producer. Hampton Roads is full of picturesque backgrounds for your photo shoot and well work with you to find the perfect location for yours. Were ready to get sandy at the beach, hangout at a local playground, or come to your home. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We love to get to know our clients before a shoot so that we can give them the best experience possible on the day of their session. A complimentary consultation is included with all packages.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at portfolios, ask for more examples of the type of photography you are wanting too. Always look for a photographer who is happy to sit down with you before any shoot and discuss exactly what you want from your session.
